They take the time to teach you all of the ins and outs of your trade. They are very patient and understanding with respect to your personal life. I think that ICBAS has the best instructors and methods of teaching us. I do think a good idea in the basics class is taking pictures of your work. Looking back, I wish that I would have done that!

From the first day I stepped foot into ICBAS, I felt my world shift. Literally. The energy I felt each time I visited, throughout the interview and registration process, was palpable. It's an energy I continue to feel each day when I come to school. Without exception, every instructor has been and continues to be a mentor in one area or another. That support has helped me gain confidence, knowledge and the drive to continue learning. The school's bilingual teachers are great assets to those students who speak Armenian, Persian, or Spanish.

ICBAS' campus is so open and airy. In the beginning the bookwork was difficult, but once you get used to the hustle and bustle --- which is what you get in the real world – then you can shut out the distractions and continue work! I would recommend it to others. It is a very pleasant atmosphere and I have benefited greatly from the knowledge I've gained here.

One big thing I have learned while attending ICBAS is that everyone is there to support you...the staff, students and clients. The back bone of my training was "state board preparation" classes, which put me at ease knowing that I will pass the state board test, since I am practicing it on a daily basis. I love being able to say that I love my College! I feel that I have learned so much and I know that I will be great going on to do what I love to do the most, "to be a hair stylist"
